Hi,
I would like to suggest that you provide a binary for mac os x. I was
just talking with the music department here at Reed College, and they
were complaining about Finale, especially its cost. I told them how
mathematicians use TeX, and wondered why music people didn't have the
equivalent.
I'm reposting this, maybe someone has some time for it this time around.
This time with legend.

Yes. I can also compile gcc 3.0 and many, many other tools.

Worked as advertised. Thanks!

Great! And I have done

Can you compile a simple c++ file like this:
#include
int
main (int, char const*[])
{
std::cout << "Hello world" << endl;
return 0;

On the first note in my score I have:
fs^#'(large "Adagio e Delicato")
However, I would like to move the "Adagio e Delicato" up and to the left, so
that it's aligned with the left end of the staff. I tried using:
fs^#'((raise . 4.0) ((kern . -5.0) (large "Adagio e Delicato")))
But the text sho

It appears there is no predefined macro to set the
dot direction. You could define it yourself:
\dotDown= \property Voice.Dots \override #'direction = #-1
The full list of predefined macros can

Try to add the following to your file:
\score{
...
\pap
As you can see, use of transparent rests in measure 7
instead of silent rests solves the horizontal spacing
problem apparent in meaures 3, 5, and 6. Thanks.
The dots are wrong in measures 4 and 10 and \dotDown
and \dotsDown give parse errors. What now?
Poet is the wrong typeface. How to fix?
