I've added cross-platform dependencies to GUB and while at it
hacked half of GUB upside down. The good thing is that now
you should be able to do
git clone git://github.com/janneke/gub.git
cd gub
bin/gub lilypond
and get lilypond built for your platform, with all dependencies.
