Could you please post the *full* log and the input file?
Then I can look into it. I recall having seen this error before but not
what it was about.
Thanks for looking! Source and log attached. The source is
example-1.ly from edition-engraver/usage-examples.

Done at the tracker. Note that the image shows another bug: half rests
are shown as whole rests because of buggy staff-position. This explains
the weird 15 bar rest for 1/4 time.

doesn’t make sense to use shorter rests.
This respects MultiMeasureRest.usable-duration-

Hi Trevor,
I am working on Linux and have no Windows 10 running. I will try on Win7
later. IIRC there was a problem with oll-core on Windows 10, but maybe
someone else can tell?
The error message indicates a problem before EE is loaded.
If oll-core is loaded successfully EE *should* work.

Hi EE-Users
I thought I'd try to bring the edition engraver into use over the
holiday period, so I cloned edition-engraver and oll-core from git-hub
into a local repository, placed that in Frescobaldi's include path and
tried to compile the first example in edition-engraver. It fails with
