Recently I had to typeset a piece of music using stippled/dashed
slurs. I found the mechanism to change the style not very
nice, nor the dashed line itself.
What I miss is that you can't specify the length of the dash
and the length of the white space ("dash-fraction and
dash-period" ?).

Getting proper support for latin and latin-like languages. We don't
