Lilypond on Fink font rebuilding problems

Hi. I know this isn't the right place to post this question, but I contacted the maintainer of lilypond for Fink and he basically knows about this problem and doesn't have time to fix it... I'm using Fink on Mac OS X to run lilypond. Everything works great except that everytime I run ly2dvi, lil

hi. i need to place rests in particular vertical locations to avoid collisions. something like a4\rest works great for non-whole measure rests. but i'd like an equivalent for a whole measure rest that is centered within a measure. also, just a comment on a previous post: someone mentioned that

Hi, I gave it some thought last night and I tend to agree. It might also require a lot less time to work a \midi style extension (e.g. \braille{}) to drop out the braille version of the music, although the ability to mix normal and braille scoring might be desirable albeit a lot more complicated.
