Please treat this with the proverbial pinch of salt - my buildscripts can't build bison-3.0 on either x86_64 or i686, so it is possible that something in them is also breaking this. But ... Trying to build i686 svn (from LFS-7.2) on a machine capable of 64-bits, gmp failed with ABI=32: command
