Yes, the actual machine time is not as great a savings as I would like,
however it does make a huge dent in user time for manual builds - no
matter what, everyone goes through the manual build process of LFS at
least once

Interesting suggestion! From my latest chapter 5 build, that would
shave 9.5 minutes off of the 74 minute build time (~13%). Assuming that
it takes less than 9.5 minutes
