Note that (if upstream does this correctly) these will change with every
change to libudev. Not sure if there's some way to pull the values from
their Makefile.am (probably not terribly easy), or otherwis

I don't know if we mention this in the book, although something about
multiple partitions springs to mind. This is just a heads up to anyone
who attempts to do the same.
I like to spread my system over multiple partitions, and I typically
give about 500M to / as it rarely needs any more than that;
