Hi, Not sure if this has anything specifically to do with Sierra version
of MacOS but that's the only Mac I have to test on..
When I run the latest Lazarus from source forge download section, on Mac
Sierra OS version, The IDE loads up and works fine except for when I try
to save the project.

and i tried other LCL controls which need this too.
SpinEdit/FloatSpinedit/Check/Radiobtn/Group/Panel..
now i see that no more fixes needed.
SpinEdit's are childs of TCustomEdit--so they ok today.

Currently I'm developing a application to control a process and the width
of one form can't be increased to more than 4096 pixels.
My environment is: Lazarus 1.7, FPC 3.1.1 over Linux Mint 17.3 amd64, with
Sparta and Anchordocking packages installed.
Why this limit?

Windowing environments tend to have a 32k or 64k window pixel limit (eg:
X11 and GDI). So the 4k limit seems to be something introduced by LCL.
