Here is an undocumented problem that I can't seem to solve.
Trying to complete the Dial Strings for a Dialogic d/41h. After running
PBXexpert it runs the tests and saves the data, but when I enter
PBX-Strings page in the TAPI-Card config

*You have to dial a 9 pause before every number (some clients have
trouble accepting this).
*It uses an extension port that can be used for a phone, fax-detection
is useless on a system no utilizing Auto-attendant.
*You can use DIL, but then this takes up an incoming co line.
*Some faxes
Does anybody know if the Whisper function will work on the P101A

Sorry for the silly question! What is the procedure for setting (or what
is the translation) for Idle Line preference at the extensions. On the
KXTD and kxta it is program99-->1-> [1,2,or3]. I can't seem to locate
this in the 616 manual.

This may be a stupid question, but does anyone know how many extensions
are supported with the caller ID module on a new KXTA624. Customer has
nine extensions and wants Caller ID displayed on all kxt7135 phones for
all 3 CO lines.

The two short dial tones are usually heard when the phone is forwarded
(ie. To voice mail or another phone)...

If you want to spend $15 go to this site for the manual
http://www.quick-manuals.com/
Someone probably entered a 7XXX code that changed programming.

I knew about the option "1" for the KXTD, but wasn't sure if it applied
to the 616. Thanx a bunch, will pass it on...

Hello all! Does anyone know how to quietly listen-in on a conversation
without using Exec-Override? Situation: Manager at extension 103 using a
kxtd7456 phone, wants to quietly listen-in on a call-gone-wild at the

If it's Ethernet based what would be the difference?
Other than perhaps UK vs
Program 607 (day) 608 (night) You can assign the extensions that will
have doorphone ringing...

It does nothave Hands-Free answer. This is not comparable to any of the
Panasonic KXTD, KXTA systems at all. It is only an enhanced consumer
cordless phone setup, (not qualified to be a system) that has limited
features, but is great for the home!

YES, I had the same issue with a phone that was in the same room as the
base-station, I exchanged it and all was well. Range and static are
normal problems to deal with in most of the consumer cordless phones...
