trying to check that the SMDR is accessible on my KX-TD816. I'm using
a null-modem cable - and have checked the pinouts are all okay. The
Program for SMDR (800) is running and set to record all outgoing
calls. I've plugged into the RS-232 interface, and conected (for a
test) via Hypert

I'm looking to implement caller id using the offices KX-TD816. I'm
aware there are 3rd party application which can provide a TAPI
interface to the end-user PC, but these seem to require a Windows
server. The office server in this instance is Linux.
Does anyone have experience of implementi
This is a simple straightforward question - hopefully someone can
point me in the right direction. What type of connector fits the 4-pin
connector for stations on the KX-TD 816? I had thought they were
RJ14's?
...and can I get hold of any in the UK??

existing KX-TD816 PBX operating in the UK with eight extensions. The
handsets are (master) KX-T7433 and the rest are KX-T7420 (some seem to
be KX-T7420E's if that makes a difference).

I've expanded out KXTD816 with a KXTD170 extension module, I can see
it's already configured in PBX to look for an extension there.
However, I've connected a few test phones to it, and only the analog
handsets are recognised. A
