If all else fails try a terminator accrost the line that is a 600 Ohm resistor in series with a 5 Uf 200 volt ( NP) capacitor. I have had a few ocassions where a terminator fixed weird audio problems. PS you can make a NP 5 uf cap by connecting 2 10uf 100 volt caps in series + to + or - to - to ma
