I can only smile, I started with MA BELL in '81 and worked on 1A2 for
just a year! Barely remember it. dp

Funny, I remember seeing this occur on the 61610 & 123211D whenever you
hooked up a DSS console, so this is nothing new to me...being able to
turn of the feature I guess is ok.  Never bothered me or my customers
before.  Matter of fact, I think old Comdial Executech did the same
thing too.  That was the way things worked in the last millenium.
Everyone is getting spoiled with the new fangled features these days.
Maybe we should go back to 1A2 and get these young whippersnappers to
try an' wire up an intercom box or sumpin'.  Now that was wiring up
sumpin', yep.  Or better yet, hookin' up a ringer matrix, yesiree!
