When everyone pointed out the EFA feature needed to be set I grumbled because I had set that. But when I double checked before opening my mouth I found it was not.WHat a surprise. It works once again. I think I have gremlins working for me.. Couldn't be my poor typing Thanks to all! Randy

If you are talking about using Call Waiting, you should use the EFA button, or program the flash button to work as EFA (External Feature Access). See program 900 area 01, bit 3 in the back of your programming manual. Michael N. Marcus AbleComm, Inc. www.ablecomm.com etc. - Original Messag

Randy, Somewhere in the 990 program, there is a section to define if a "flash" provides and disconnect or an EFA to the central office. Sounds as though you have disconnect activated and EFA needs to be turned on. Dont remember what line, so you may need to do a search through the 990 program,

You have to change the function of the flash key to "flash" or "external feature access" in Panasonic lingo. The default is "recall" and the delay is too long for a standard flash. I'm not where I have a manual handy, but it is in the 990 feature set. Jim - Original Message - From: <[E
