The IO-240 Continental is quite different from the O-200. It is basically a 4 cylinder version of the Continentsl IO-360, which, IMHO, is a really solid engine. It also shares most parts with the IO-360, which makes parts availability reasonable. It would make a good engine for a scaled up,

This won't help you, as my KR1 buffets at 62 mph.(53 kts). Haven't taken it into full stall yet. That was with retracts down. Plane is pretty much to plans, tho heavy (785 lbs) as flown. It now has fixed gear, but it's not back in the air yet. Someday... Kevin Stolhammer kstolham...@gmail.com
