Yep, I thought of that, but don't you think that .5mm is too much gap? My gear brackets are made of cast aluminum, and my fear is that if the legs are not tightly fit, then maybe that may induce some cracks. Then, again, I am fairly ignorant as far as metal work is concened. Serge Matthew
