Evolution of the KR’s….I started building my KR2 in 1990. And after flying
Martys plane in Oklahoma. I also got on the speed wagon after flying his plane
with the 2180cc engine in it. We had just landed and discovered a crack in the
case going towards an oil gallery below the oil pressure switch
KR1 drawing 4A……sternpost is 40” tall.
My early blueprints have it as 38”.
It appears that 2” was added to the stern post in the fuselage depth of the
last bay! The old prints show the depth of this bay at 9”…….has this been
changed in the newer plans to 11” as in the KR2?
