stiffen the crossbar after it is installed I would not be so sure about. Just

It's true, going to fixed gear renders a more versatile and sturdy landing gear
but the original retractable gear works fine if a stiffer than called for

gear. Elevator, horizontal stab, rudder, outer wing spars completed. Includes

I am an early KR-2 builder who purchased plans #1572 in 1976. I completed the
basic fuselage tub, as well as the horizontal stab, elevator, rudder, and both
