Good Evening All,

I am an early KR-2 builder who purchased plans #1572 in 1976. I completed the
basic fuselage tub, as well as the horizontal stab, elevator, rudder, and both
front and rear outer wing spars. Then I inherited a T-18 project, worked on
that for a while until purchasing a PA-12 with two others. Ten years ago I
also purchased a 1938 Cessna Airmaster. Along the way a 1967 MGB also showed
up in my shop needing LOTS of work to be made roadworthy. So, at the age of
73, I feel that something has to go, and the KR is at the top of the list.
Included is a VW engine mount, the plywood for the firewall, and other small
tidbits. It is sitting on the original style retractable gear, and the control
stick, aileron cables, and pulleys are installed. All joints were done with
FPL 16A epoxy. We didn't have the West system back then. I will also include
a binder with the early newsletters, original instruction booklet, and other
info.

I don't wish to make any sort of profit, in fact I am sure that I will take a
loss, but I would like to see this project go to someone younger who has a
better chance of seeing it through to completion. In the interest of full
disclosure I will also add that over the years, at some point, mice set up
housekeeping in the fuselage, and there are some dark stains in the plywood. I
feel that there is no reason to fear that the "mouse pee" has caused any
detriment to the strength of the plywood or spruce, and it is only a cosmetic
issue, but I want to make that clear in case it could be a show stopper for
someone.

Asking $750 for everything as is. For more photos email me
