Guys, I'm working at getting my marker lights in the tips. I was wondering if the clear plastic that nearly everything comes in could be heated and shaped to a mold to form a tip lens. I just pulled some packages out of the recycle box that has some good size flat sheet and is pretty thick.

Someone suggested the RC Airplane Canopy for tip lights before. I went to the store and all the canopies they carried were extremely thin and wouldn't be airworthy in the least bit. I actually stopped by several and they seemed to all carry the same brand. I am glad I went and saw them in pe

Guys, The RC canopy may be a good option but be aware that proably no two wing tips are the same unless maybe your using the wing skins. I think that I'll take the cut out of glass from my tip with me to the store to see if there is one that gets close. I wouldn't risk mail order on one th
