My instructor, who has extensive tail dragger time, warned that more accidents happen during high speed taxi test than during any phase of tail dragger flight. I do not think we did any hs taxis. His feeling being you get the feel during take off with out the extra danger inherent in powering

Joel, Are you flying a KR now? If not, and you are planning on always doing 3 point, I think you better re-plan. If you have a short field, I think you need to plan on a belly board, but don't plan on 3 point in a KR. See N64KR at http://KR-Builder.org - Then click on the pics Daniel R. Heath -
