Wished I could have made it. People used to say "wild horses couldn't stop
me", well, hurricanes can.
See everyone next year in Mount Vernon.

Arrived home 2 hours ago. Strong head winds most of the way but mostly
smooth over the Midwest and the plains and continuous turbulence over the
Rockies.
Great Gathering. Thanks to Bob and the EAA chapter for hosting. It is always
good to see and swap stories with everyone.
Thanks again.

Thanks Larry for the update. We too enjoyed the gathering very much and
thanks to everyone for everything! Unfortunately, we are still on the road
suffering from traffic jam near Dallas...
Luis will be home in about one hour but I won't be home until after 9:00pm
tonight! Need to finish the KRs as
Im in Rhode Island. Our little airport would be a great spot, camping
available, avgas available, by the ocean etc.
But it's not central so I think that counts it out...

to the Gathering in the KR, I'd like to remind builders and fliers
alike of the Tony Bingelis series of books available through the EAA
store. I would call these a "have to have" set of builder books to
supplement the KR

There are no vaccination requirements to attend the gathering.

I sent the Mixture Meter presentation today to Mark Langford. He may have
that posted on the KRnet soon.
If you cannot find it there, send me an email and I will send you a copy.

I contacted EAA about that some time ago, and they told me that a person can
win only one award for their plane and once winning that award, cannot win
it again in future years. However, I go with whatever Larry says. No way
