I hope to begin building in Feb. Since I dont qualify for the Sport pilot
exemption,I plan to finish up my pilots license in a glider then add on the
motor glider rating while building a KR1-b.
I have 38 hours in gliders and a 152 plus many hours in ultralights.

I'm the lucky owner of the KR fuselage that just sold on Ebay - To begin
with, the fuselage is in much better shape than he disclosed in his
description. The problem is that the person he acquired it from had cut the
spars off at the fuselage. So, I'll need to cut out the remaini

I assume the KR2 project (boat stage, spars built) I just bought is stock KR2.
Ie, no extended fuse, stock spars, etc. Were I starting from scratch I would
be building a KR2S, and would go with the 18% AS5048

I just had to ask the seasoned builters out there. If given a fresh set
of KR-2S plans what are some of the mod's that you would start planing
from, in the begining Engine - Wings - Strobs - Flaps - Props - LD Gear
- Prephab Parts - Timesavers - Weight Savers!! That kinda stuff.
