I got a call from Colin Cleland 2 days ago and if he can get 2 more guys to
come we will be heading to Red Oak on Monday to arrive by Thursday. I was
intending to go next year but with more people in the van it is
affordable.We will be camping in my motorhome at the airport. Colin will

As an FYI:
There are about 40 rooms reserved at the 2 hotels in Red Oak (as of 9/3/03),
and we know of a few campers also.
We have RSVPs from 75. That is about the same amount as last year, and we
ended up with 105 attendees. We know of about 17 ladies coming to the
Gathering, too. I'
To All:
The set up for the Gathering is pretty much the same as last year:
Lunches on Friday & Saturday will be a free-will offering by a local Church
Group.
Friday evening will be a BBQ at the Airport (price around $5).
Saturday evening is the Awards Banquet at the Red Coach Inn ($15 each).
On
Tommy Waymack is also flying in. No one has heard from the CA contingent.
I will at there, but no plane. I have spent too much time correcting
problems to finish.

forward to the gathering.
I bought a KR2 kit about 15 years ago, built the fuselage sides and
spars then stopped due to space limitations.
