I'm finishing up a KR-2s which I bought 90% completed and need some advice.
The DAR I plan to use has a checklist I need to fill out and it asks for
"Designer recommended limits and this plane's measurements for:"
Aileron up travel/ down travel
Elevator up/down

Hey everybody, I have some great news on my project! I just had my
airworthiness inspection today and passed with flying colors. I got my
airworthiness certificate and repairman. Now all I'm waiting for is a
nice day to take her up!

Yup, and if you check my previous post, I did qualify my comments by saying
that the KR must not have been previously registered or certified, such as a
KR in the building stage. My understanding is that once an aircraft has
been registered and certified, it can't be re-certified into a di

The FAA cannot certify any aircraft whose governing authority is outside the
US. You will have to find out if JAA, ICAO, or some other authority grants you
your airworthiness in Germany. Probably ICAO, but I would not swear to it.
