You are supposed to put flox between the metal bracket and the gear leg
when you bolt it on. I don't see any reason why you couldn't get
whatever angle you need with washers and flox. use some bagging film or
Saran wrap so you can get it apart, remove the washers, and reflox it again.

simple fact is that most of the companies supplying for the homebuilt
market do not produce installation manuals that are appropriate for the
first time builder. "Simply put it together" doesn't cut it. When I wrote

I went through this 6 yrs ago myself and could not believe how far off I
was, I also used Dan's landing gear package. I'm not sure exactly how the
instructions read but when it came time to mount the lower brackets for
the axles the instructions left alot to be desired, luckily I could fill
