My Canopy arrived with many layers of clear glad wrap over it, this will
make it difficult to see through to and cut to size.
What can I put on the canopy to protect it, if I remove the plastic ???

Spray Lat which you can get from AS. It is in the catalog. I have used it
quite successfully. Just be sure to put it on thick or else it will be
difficult to get off, and thicker protects better. I put it on my windshield
to be able to run it through the band saw for trimming.

Brian,
When I was having problems with my windshield, I contacted Todd to see if he
could help. OH, there is the first benefit, I actually contacted him, and
we talked. He even has e-mail and a real web site.
Price would be another benefit and you can choose the tint.

Got my new Canopy a few days ago
Great piece of work
But boy is it a big canopy.
I'll have to start looking through all of those KR web pages to get some
info on fitting it.
I now have my Dan Diehl wings finished, with tanks, I'll have to weigh them
to see what they came out at.

Isssh mate - what did it cost to import these bits - airfreight I
presume? How was the canopy packed?
I have been trying to get a package size /weight from DD for exactly
that
Stephen
Canopy was $300us, and by the time Customs, freight, GST took their bit, it
was $900Aust.
I'm chasing the quote for the wood as we speak.

Hey Phil
Ok, so the canopy cost around US$ 660 - a bit more than double to land
it. Was it crated or in a cardboard box?
Did you import the DD wing skins - if so, what was freight on that?
Airfreight?
Take care
Steve
Sorry Stephen
I did not bring them in, but I believe they were crated, 6 in one crate,
Todds took care of the packing. I did not import my wingskins etc. I
purchased a incomplete KR with the Dan Diehl wingskins and trigear.
Not sure, but I think the canopy came by sea, much cheaper. I'll try and
