Can anyone tell me what differences there are between 4130, 4140 to EN19 as
well as the phisical differences between 6061 and 6261 ally.

It is a weldable grade and would be good for fuel tanks, skins and the
like but think something like 6061-T6 might be better suited for a prop
hub or or other such parts as it is not only weldable but heat treatable.

I know that, but got the impression that Don Lively didn't know that, and
wondered why he'd make that comment. I would also mention that a mere
reciting of the alloy percentages didn't do a thing for the question asked,
