Hi Randy;
I think this might get to you to late to be of any use but here goes. You
put the peel ply on top of the glass cloth and let it soak up the access
epoxy and squeegee off the access epoxy then after it sets up, peel it off
just before you do your next layers. Now, normaly you would do

Hi Randy:
Is the epoxy hard, hard or still green (plyable)? If it's hard, does it have
a waxy feel on top? If so you'll have to clean it off with a cloth and
vinegar followed by a clean rinse rag. Dry it and scuff it with #80 grit and
apply all of your layers followed by peelply. Cut your cloth

You have to sand it first before you put on a new layer.

Randy, You really need to get a good book on using glass and
resin that tells you how to stipple it out so you dont have more resin than
is needed. You just add weight not strength by having to much resin.

of the new fiberglass cloth onto the exhisting fiberglass surface that is not
damaged. IF I were doing a two layer of fiberglass cloth repa

Thanks Mike, sorry my math brain quit, should of said 14 x 14 for larger piece
and 12 x 12 for smaller piece.
Larry H.
12"x12" only gives a 1" over lap all the way around a 10"x10" patch

But I thought peel ply left a skin of silicone on the epoxy I
