I've been around Bondo since it came out about 1951,the only time it seems
to soften is when it's
oil soaked,except I don't

Some of our paint removers use Methyl Chloride as its active chemical. It
will soften or remove paint and hardened resins too. Methyl Chloride is
absorbed through the skin, so wear gloves to protect yourself.

Would anyone know what to use to disolve some body filler on aluminum. I
have some that I need to remove and I can't sand without hitting the
aluminum. It may be polyester (Bondo) and it may be epoxy and microbaloons
or some other type of aircraft filler.
