I recently found 2 different possible cloths to substitute for fiberglass.One is 4 ounce Dynel.It forms to curves and wets out easily.Xynole has the same characteristics as Dynel,but it has better abrasion resistance than glass cloth or Dynel.Neither of these cloths wet out clear,this could be t

Hi Larry, You are thinking of kevlar. It is the yellow colored fabric that is used for bullet proof vests and whatever humans can think of. The dynel I bought and looked at 30 years ago is a light tan color. I like fiberglass cloth better though. Larry H. +++
