I have been offered some ceconite covering and I need to know if it is worthwhile to use for covering the ply sections of the fuse, wood turtle deck included of course. I searched the archives but found not very much, so is ceconite lighter and more durable than the lightweight glass cloth f

Chris: Ceconite is a long time favorite of tube and fabric builders. I used it many years ago to recover my J-3. It does not have the strength that glass cloth with resin has. I would not use it. I remember using glue to fasten it to the tubing and then ironing it to shrink it to fit. Then t
