I haven't seen any Subaru engines pulling KR's around--not that they don't
exist, I just don't know of any, why? Power to weight ratio? Added work to
install? Anyway, I got two with my KR2S project and am weighing the options
(yes, pun intended).

This is just my opinion as I have no experience with the Sube
engines. I was rather excited when I first saw them being used
and in some areas they have had reasonable success, like the
gyrocopter in Australia. I've never seen any real success in
the KR in my 16 years at the Gatherings

Don't overlook VW engines RG2000 or RG2000EFI
100hp 1.6 helical Gear reduction. 200ft lbs torque turn over a 60inch prop
or a
large pitch.
