I would suggest you perform a cylinder leakage test using compressed air. You may find a ring or valve problem on one or more cylinders.

This is the new location for the carb. As you can see, I have a completely new intake manifold, based off the VW intake castings. So far, I have gotten mixed reviews on how well it is working. The pictures show that, #3 cylinder is running rich and #2 is very lean with #4 quite lean also and #1, a
