The aileron bell crank hinge bolt needs a castle nut and cotter key.
(Bolt is subject to possible rotation during use.)

have to remove the keeper
nuts from the top bracket.
Doesn't that also mean I have to open the thing
up forward of the rear spar to access the
bolt heads?
At a minimum if everything works ok as-is,
the least I should do is dril

You could add ( said before) a longer bolt and spacer to the aileron
pushrod, and lower the pivot point, or put an S shaped push rod so the REB
is more centralized.??
