I need to have my Sterba 62 X 68 prop on my M1 pitched a little lower. I know that Ed can get pretty busy and I expect it to be two weeks before I get it back. Since I fly 5 to 10 hours a week and have trips for work that pop up at a drop of a hat it is a pretty big deal for me to have my plane d

Fellows: I have a tryke, subaru powered KR-2, ea-81, in need of a better prop. I have room for 58 inches of diameter, but feel like I need more pitch. The subaru is turning 4500 RPM static, but the performance is very poor, compared to what it seems it should do. The gear reduction, 2 t

Jim Check with mark Jones, I believe he has a 3 blade warp drive in the prop bank. Not sure what diameter it is but it would be worth asking. Jack Cooper > [Original Message] > From: Jim Sellars > To: KRnet > Date: 8/2/2005 12:52:16 PM > Subject: KR> Prop needed > >

Fixer: It rotates clockwise from the cockpit. So a standard SAE 1 prop, 58 inches diameter would be very nice with big blades and about 65-68 inches of pitch. What do you think? Jim - Original Message - From: To: Sent: Tuesday, August 02, 2005 4:10 PM Subject: Re: KR> P

Jim, Try www.warpdrive.com (I think is the website or you can google warp drive props) The thing that I like about a Warp Drive is the ability to adjust the pitch. Which allows you to optimise the pitch settings for your particular engine / aircraft combination. To do that with a wooden prop is

I have an Ed Sterba on mine Jim, and the harmonics are great, as you know I have a continental 85, and spin a 60x60 , presently getting 2650 which is pretty much bang on for the rated RPM Max for that engine which is 2585 It doesn't answer your question however for your Soob engine.
