At approximately 12:40 PM Central time today, N886MJ again broke the surly
bonds of earth. It had been a long winter as she sat in a cold dark hanger
since September 2009 waiting for major surgery to be performed on her engine.
Her engine, after destroying it's second cam gear, was given to Roy

After almost two full months since my crank breakage, "Six Mike Juliet" flew
again this morning with the new Dan Weseman fifth bearing installed. I was at
about 200 feet off the ground when my mind said to me "wow, this engine has
never been this smooth on climb out". Then at 500 feet I made a p

I finished the installation of my engine on January 1st after removing it from
the plane and installing a new distributor, oil pump and rear case. The engine
ran flawlessly on Jan 1st when I did the static test runs. The weather here was
perfect all week for flying but unfortunately, I had to wo
