Congratulations for the long trip!!! It interest me to know which was the
gas consumption of the Corvair (how many Hp?. To 3000 feet, did you still
have possibilities of good ascent?

Well, I finally touched down in Valdosta GA this morning about 8:00 am ET
after spending two nights in Vidalia GA due to low ceilings and rain. The
plane now has 122 hours on it and has run flawlessly on this trip. The only
inncident was the ground loop due to the thinwalled rudder pedal
