Netters Has anyone tried mounting their control stick on the forward side of the main spar? I plan on building fuel tanks in the stub wings as Mark Lnagford did. I'd like to avoid giving up space for aileron push-pull tubes and bellcrank that could be used to build larger tanks. Any thoughts wo

How about extending the elevator push-pull tube through the spar and connecting the aileron tubes on that side. Without the retract mechanism up there, should be plenty of room. Of course you have to come back through the spar, or in the space between the wing and the stub to get to the ailer

Well, if you go on the front of the spar, you will not only have to cut a hole in the web of the aft spar for the elevator cables or push tube, but you will also have to cut one in the front spar. It may also make it hard to reach unless you bend the stick aft, but then, what is the point? See N

Sorry about the interruption, but Mark placed his power supply in the stub wing for the strobes. I have 2 to deal with and want to know if there is a problem locating them in the first bay of the outer wings instead of the stub wings? Any comments I know this is a departure from the general
