We arrived at 2 and that was about the only plane
left. What a let done. Almost no vendors. No one was
really willing to negotiate. Wanted a 396 and they
would not budge on the price. cost about $200 in fuel
for nothing.

Hmmm... was that Sunday, by any chance? The fly-in was only Fri. and Sat.,
June 1-2. Setup was on Thursday and take-down was on Sunday. I was driving
a tram at 2 PM on Saturday and the fly-in was fully buzzing with activit
That was Saturday The Rv's did there fly over and the
yaks were doing there run up. I guess I remember the
Ker ville days, and there were not that many planes on
the flight line when we arrived. The activity were all
the people leaving. When we went to the vendors area
at 3 they were all ready putt
Remember, the SWREAA Flyin starts on Friday morning. Most came on Thursday
afternoon or Friday morning and leave for home on Saturday afternoon.
