In my experience, postal mail to people who may have an interest in an
event is effective. As a newly-elected president of an EAA chapter in
'02 and '03, I planned and coordinated our early September fly-in. One
of the promotional gimmicks I used was direct mailing postcards to all
EAA members
I did join because of your mailing. Didn't know KRnet existed before. Other
than RM, which I owned for a while, I have never seen another KR. Living in
Northern California, the gathering is a long ways away. Probably would have
done it when I was younger and had more time. I Still feel the KR ll is
No 51% rule?!! I thought was being changed was flying model airplanes!

I was just on Barnstormers www.barnstormers.com and there are 12 KR's there for
sale. Some of the names selling these KR's are well known names in the KR
family. Personally, I was surprised to see a couple of these who are selling
their plane.
