I have 0 aerobatics. And very low fly time. I'm still in the choice making
stage. I've only just ordered the wood yesterday. After a bit of
research, Most likely I'll stay away from longterm inverted flight.
Would I do the same with the oil? Have a flop tube?

you'll need a
done them in a Pitts and they really are not comfortable or fun. If
you are an airshow performer you need to do them, but for having fun
you pretty much want to stay away from them.
