A few questions before you go down that path. Don't take any offense to these as I don't know what aerobatic experience you may or may not have and before I had experience I also thought that to do aerobatics that you needed inverted fuel and oil.
Do you have aerobatic experience and if so do you plan on sustained inverted flight and outside maneuvers? If you do I would recommend a Pitts, not a KR. Do you realize that you can do a very wide range of aerobatics without inverted fuel and oil? I have a Mustang 2 without inverted fuel or oil and regularly do loops, rolls, Split S, Immelemans, hammerheads, barrel rolls, and Cuban 8s. I keep positive G through all of them (except for brief 0G at the top of a hammerhead) and have never had my engine even hickup. Have you ever tried inverted flight or negative G maneuvers? I have done them in a Pitts and they really are not comfortable or fun. If you are an airshow performer you need to do them, but for having fun you pretty much want to stay away from them. -------- Original Message -------- Subject: KR> Inverted fuel flow. Flying upsidedown, I need some ideas on how not to starve the carb while inverted. If this was mentioned in the plans I may have missed it. _______________________________________________ Search the KRnet Archives at [3]http://tugantek.com/archmailv2-kr/search.
