KR-netters
After consulting with the Aerospace Department at Mississippi State University
concerning the pitching up of my KR-2 upon stall approach, a probable cause has
been reached. The Horizontal Stabilizer is stalling prior to the wing stall.
This may be caused by the longer wing by Dan De

The 1st Cardinals had laminar flow Wings which gave very little stall warning

The "Elevator Stall" was cured by an "Mandantory" AD which required the

In all of my plans there was a true airfoil shape, Virg

You can put a stall strip on the wing to make it stall first look at the
inboard leading edge of a Beech Bonanza and the Tiger and Traveler of
American Aviation Co. Easy quick fix.

No. that makes a rumble so you can recognize the approaching stall

Early Lancair 2 seaters had a tail stall problem. If you look at the
Lancair 235 compared to the Lancair 360, the tail is much wider. A lot of the
Lancair 235s have been modified to have the later model tail to correct the
stall
problem.

Bill,
I spent lots of time in my Mustang II with guys that were used to
flying General Aviation aircraft. Every one wanted to fly it. In all
the time I had it (800+hours) I can't remember anyone that was
successful at a stall sequence the first time. With out fail,
everyone over controlled it
