I started a KR-2 Kit SN 8149 back in 1989 and stopped as boat on gear with
wings in 1997 to raise a family.
Now kids are
Bob beings your KR-2 is in the boat stage up on gear I think your out of
luck to get the dimensions needed for the S model unless you do some major
splicing of the air frame. Corvair engine is rather
desirable for the KR-2. Personally I would start with a KR-2S boat and go
