Netheads, There was a question asked a few weeks ago but I have not seen a reply. What is the max height of the top of the canopy or top of turtle deck without interfering with the airflow over the tail feathers What has been used as the datum, (botom of the fuselage) or (top of rear spar).

Cristiano, I would think you would want 2.5 m (8 feet) for the ground floor ceiling to make the "loft" useable as far as head room goes. That should give you enough height to build the KR. You will need to take the project outside to turn it upside down or back rightside up but I had to do tha

Hi, I visited a pal of mine yesterday who is building an RV, and I couldn't help but notice how "tall" the plane was. Is there any reason (apart from the reduced drag which short gear possesses, and the fact that the standard gear just happens to be very short) why the KR has such short gear?
