I posted the HAPI instructions for that ignition to the VW Conversions user
group some years ago. The documentation may help you. I think HAP!'s problems
with the crankshafts got in the way of their ignition becoming popular.
Magneto's were relatively cheaper then too. I ran a HAPI secondary
I had a Hapi Ignition that used a Bosch 009 with advance it was chopped
shorter, and a disc with magnets was installed.
It then had a potted hall effect sensor package on top.
The Ignition module and coils were the sam as the non advance version.
