I have built my HS & elevator spars and they are 71 inches long...which are
the dimensions given in the builder's manual. There is an elevator spar
center bracket of 1/4" plywood, but nothing else for the stab spars. In the

Kr2 Vert stab = 40" KR2S = 43"
Horiz stab = 71"=71" (same)
This is per RR plans. Only the vertical stab (rudder) was changed going
from the KR2 to the KR2S. I suspect that this had to do with the longer
fusel

Sheet W2 of the KR2S plans shows the wing planform and from that the wing
span from tip to tip (which includes the 20" wing tip extension on each
wing) is 23 ft 5 in.

Any advise would be welcomed
I have been told spars need to be 20% stronger width or a doubler out One
foot either side???
