Dacron is not nylon. It is a distinct polymer and has very different properties. Caution advised if used as a substitute in layups. Peter

If the nylon you're looking at is water or wind resistant then its coated with silicone. Don't use that. Any fiberglass supply shop will have some sort of peel ply. Prices vary. Tap Plastics, fiber lay, US composites etc. I bought mine from a.s after picking up a few samples from local fabric st

I needed some dacron peel ply but didn't want to go to the trouble of buying from a.s. for just that. Figured out dacron was just a trade name for a particular nylon weave... went to my local hancock's fabric...found some nylon with a similar weave...couldn't tell the difference. https://sites.go
