I have a set of KR2S plans and the fuselage sides already built. The two sides
are sitting in St. Louis if you want them as well. (or know anyone who would).
I moved to Tampa and didn't bring them.

Great! I'm going to be there with a freind of mine who is building a Zodiac.
I'm just getting started on my project so it will be good for me to see a
few KR's and get my motivation up. I don't have to travel 400 miles, but
thanks for making the trip.
See you there

What's going on in Mexico, Mo. and when?
Any KR guys going? I would love to see a few airplanes and meet some guys
in person. I have the day off and it would definately beat the planned
garage sale that my wife is doing.
Does that guy have a website? I love the canopy and turtle deck. Is there
anymore information on what modifications he made? How much he stretched
it, widened it? It looked a bit taller as well.
Before he did the roll, I thought it was a WIG craft. (Wing in Ground
Effect)

Click on the Video demonstration clip below the picture, I couldn't copy the
video clip.
How 'bout all of the folks that have died when their plane flipped over on
the canopy when they hit power lines or tree tops, that was cool to.I
mean you haven't lived until you've died doing something stupid in an
airplane!! I think I did something like that when I was a student pilot
wit
ossmembers flush. My question is this: When each side is done, is it so
rigid that a dip will cause a problem, or will I be able to bend it to shape
when putting the sides together?
I might be over-reacting, but I want to start off right!!
Thanks;

"Just get the table as flat as you can. I hope that answers that"
That works, thanks.
I figured I was over reacting, I would hope that 5/8 spruce would not be so
rigid once epoxied together. you know, if I rolled a golf ball down the
table, would the dimples...aw, never mind just another stupid question.
My company got the memo (small airline out of STL). I don't know what to
think about it right now, working for an airline, it seems to keep the flow
of traffic going and the line down at the end of the runway. It may save a
little time or just seems to at least.
Years ago in STL there was a t
will widening the fuselage change the spar locations in relation to each
other?
My experience
was a one time
thing 30 years ago. FOGOT MOST OF IT
It sounds like you FOGOT more than most of us have been TAUT.
Does anyone have any experience working with Baltic Birch plywood? I can
get it cheaper than at wicks and want to use it on the fuselage sides.
Sorry, I should have done a search first. Thanks Anyway.
Is Lenny, the cab driver still there? I grew up in central florida and did
all of my flight training there. I flew a C150 to ceder key and Lenny
picked us up in the big cab. When we asked how much for the ride, he said
"whatever you want to pay me is fine".
I might be interested, but I'm not even close to those stages though. I am
going to use the AS5048/45 airfoil, will the aileron bellcranks and pulley
brackets work? If so, I would be interested in talking with you.

You could make one mean workbench with all of those 2x4's!!
Good Luck!!
pilot, and flew buisness jets for about 5 years.
Anyway, I am looking foward to all the help and support I can find on the
message board and cannot wait to finally start building my own KR2S soon.

O.K. my experience using the board compared to others is that it lacks alot.
It's surprising that so many kr builders, who like to improve the kr
aircraft design, like a new wing design, which I downloaded for FREE want to
stick with an old forum design when there are imporvements out there for
I am eager to start building the sides of the fuselage and called wicks to
see what spruce I would need out of the spruce kit and they didn't know.
This is the first on the list, would this do it for the sides?
